Whitelist or Blacklist an e-mail address
Whitelist / Blacklist an e-mail address
Our email system automatically whitelists email addresses that you communicate with, for your entire domain. For instance, if you have two users within your domain, [email protected] and [email protected], and joe sends an email to [email protected], [email protected] will become whitelisted for both joe and amy. Subsequently, if [email protected] sends an email to [email protected] or [email protected], her email will bypass filtering. For additional information on this, kindly refer to our page about whitelist/blacklist on domain level.
Moreover, you can manually add an email address to the whitelist or blacklist as described below. Please note that the best way to add whitelist records is via Spam reports, as it automatically delivers the email and adds the sender to your whitelist. Our system uses the Sender instead of the From in the email header, both for blacklist and whitelist, which is automatically done when you authorize emails through Spam reports. If you enter an email address manually to your blacklist or whitelist and notice it does not work, check the email header and locate the X-EmailArray-EnvFrom: field, which should be utilized. Alternatively, the sender may change each time you receive a particular email. In this case, you can employ Rules to delete undesired messages based on a portion of the From header address or subject.
